Paddock, appellant, plaintiff below, appeals from adverse judgment consequent upon jury verdict resulting from a suit against defendant-appellee, Bay Concrete Industries, Inc., for alleged breach of an employment contract. The term of employment specified in the contract was five years; during the first year of its running, defendant without notice discharged plaintiff in January of 1960 following execution of the contract in August of 1959.
